Designed for compatible Traxxas BL-2S and VXL-3S-equipped vehicles, this complete cooling system provides active airflow for both the motor and electronic speed control during demanding runs.

The kit combines a 35mm motor cooling fan and 30mm ESC cooling fan with precision-machined aluminum mounting components and protective fan covers. It is ideal for drivers running higher gearing, upgraded batteries, aggressive terrain, repeated acceleration, or extended sessions where motor and ESC heat can build quickly.

Do not supply more than 9V directly to either fan. Excessive voltage may permanently damage the fan motors.

ESC Compatibility

The ESC cooling system is specifically designed for the following Traxxas ESC models:

• Traxxas BL-2S ESC — Model 3383
• Traxxas Velineon VXL-3S ESC — Model 3355R

Compatibility is based on the installed ESC model, not only the vehicle name. Confirm the model number printed on your ESC before ordering.

If you have an older VXL ESC, the ESC cooling fan will still be compatible, but an additional “universal” ESC fan mount may be required for installation.

Installation

Install the motor and ESC mounting components first, followed by their respective cooling fans and protective fan covers.

Blue thread-locking compound is recommended on metal-to-metal fasteners to help prevent loosening during vibration and extended use.

Connect the cooling fans to an appropriate receiver power source and verify fan operation before driving.
