Keep ESC temperatures under control with the Cobra Racing Aluminum ESC Cooling Fan Kit. Designed for Traxxas BL-2S 3383 and Velineon VXL-3S 3355R electronic speed controls, this high-speed cooling system increases airflow across the ESC during demanding runs.

The kit combines a 30mm dual-ball-bearing fan with a precision-machined aluminum mounting base and protective fan cover. It is ideal for drivers running higher gearing, upgraded batteries, aggressive terrain, repeated acceleration, or extended sessions where heat can build quickly.

Do not supply more than 9V directly to the fan. Excessive voltage may permanently damage the fan motor.

ESC Compatibility

Specifically designed for the following Traxxas ESC models:

• Traxxas BL-2S ESC — Model 3383
• Traxxas Velineon VXL-3S ESC — Model 3355R

Compatibility is based on the installed ESC model, not only the vehicle name. Confirm the model number printed on your ESC before ordering.  If you have an older VXL ESC, this fan may still be compatible, but an additional ESC fan mount will be required for installation.

Installation

Install the aluminum base first, followed by the 30mm fan and protective fan cover. Blue thread-locking compound is recommended on metal-to-metal fasteners to help prevent loosening.
