Recommended: Use thread locker on all connection points (especially where you have metal on metal, aluminum on metal or aluminum on aluminum). Not using thread locker may cause screws to back out mid-run, potentially leading to damage or loss of parts.

These knuckles and hubs use standard 5mm knuckle sizes. They are not compatible on an EHD setups (Extreme Heavy Duty), which uses 6mm bearings.

Before purchasing, double-check that your vehicle uses standard 5mm knuckles (which is going to be the vast majority of trucks out there). If unsure, compare your current knuckles and hubs to the product pictures carefully to confirm compatibility. There will be slight differences as our designs are not the same. But the EHD knuckles will look a lot different than standard knuckles.

I have the new stampede 3s vxl and this did not fit. When I ordered, it said it fit all stampedes. Dang. Quality and finish is top notch

Thanks for your feedback we appreciate it. We are sorry to hear that you had issues with fitment on your Stampede VXL. If you look at the product description (Under Important Notes), we mention that these will fit on all the models we specified in the listing, but they will not fit any models that have EHD’s isntallled (Extreme Heavy Duty). EHD setups use larger knuckles (larger 6mm bearings), the arms are different to accomodate the larger knuckles and the CVD’s are meant to take 6mm bearings, instead of the 5mm (which is the standard on most trucks). So while we do appreciate your honest feedback, we do have a note in bold letters letting our customers know these will not fit EHD’s, as these knuckles are the standard size. The stampede and other models sometimes come with the upgraded EHD’s, so you just need to confirm what you have.
