COBRA RACING BLUE Aluminum differential.  This differential can be uséd for either the front or back, as they are exactly the same.  So if you need to replace both differentials on your car, make sure to add 2 in the QTY dropdown.  The differential housing is made of aluminum to enhance aesthetics and durability.  All too often, when doing serious bashing or racing, sometimes the gears inside of the differential strip the entire housing, leaving your car dead in it’s track.  These aluminum differnetials solve this problem because it is much harder to strip aluminum than it is with stock plastic differential housing.

A set of rubber sealed bearings

NOTE:  Not compatible with aluminum differential housings without “some” modification.  Perfect / direct fit to stock or other plastic differential housing.  These 4×4 Differentials comes factory pre-loaded with grease. For optimal durability and long-lasting performance, it is highly recommended that users open the differential upon receipt to top off the grease, as grease viscosity can be affected by shipping conditions or flight altitude. Alternatively, users may choose to replace the grease with differential oil based on personal preference.

Additionally, depending on your specific setup, proper shimming of the differential may be required to ensure correct operation. Failure to correctly shim the differential—if needed—can lead to excessive wear and may cause output gear failures.
