At Cobra Racing, we take pride in the durability and performance of our RC upgrade parts. While our parts are engineered for strength and reliability, no part is indestructible. This policy outlines the warranty coverage, limitations, and how we handle warranty claims to ensure fairness to our customers.

 

1. Limited Warranty Coverage

Cobra Racing offers a limited warranty on all parts purchased directly from CobraRacing.net or authorized resellers. This warranty covers:

  • Factory Defects – If a part arrives with a manufacturer defect, we will issue either a full refund or an exchange of equal value.

  • Shipping Damage – If a part is damaged during transit, we will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and may provide a replacement at our discretion.

 

2. Warranty Exclusions

Due to the nature of RC racing and bashing, our warranty does not cover:

  • Damage from Use – Although uncommon, parts that break due to aggressive use (jumps, racing, high-speed crashes, bashing, etc.) are not covered under warranty.

  • Improper Installation – Damage resulting from incorrect installation or modification of parts.

  • Wear & Tear – Normal wear and tear, including scratches, scuffs, and fading from use.

  • Third-Party Alterations – Parts that have been modified, painted, or altered in any way.

 

3. How We Support You

We understand that RC racing and bashing can be tough on parts. While we cannot warranty against breakage from aggressive use, we make every effort to support our customers by:

  • Offering Discount Codes – If a part breaks, contact us, and we may offer a discount code for a future purchase.

  • Providing Expert Advice – Our team is happy to offer recommendations on setup, installation, and upgrades to improve durability and performance.

 

4. How to File a Warranty Claim

If you believe your part qualifies for a warranty claim due to a factory defect, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide Photos/Videos – Attach clear images or videos showing the defect.

  3. Wait for Review – Our team will review your claim within 3-5 business days and determine the best resolution.

  4. Resolution – If approved, we will issue a refund, replacement, or discount code as applicable.

 

5. Warranty Duration

  • Factory Defects – Must be reported within 30 days of purchase.

  • Shipping Damage – Must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

 

6. Legal Disclaimer

Cobra Racing reserves the right to deny warranty claims that do not meet the outlined criteria. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. We are not responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of our parts.
