Traxxas Slash Steel CVD Drive Shafts Front & Rear
High Performance Low Friction CVD Drive Shafts
Upgrade your Traxxas Slash, Rustler, Stampede, Hoss, and other compatible 1/10 scale models with this complete set of hardened steel CVD drive shafts for the front and rear. These high performance, low friction CVD drive shafts are built to help your RC car roll smoother, handle power better, and reduce unnecessary binding in the drivetrain.
These Traxxas Slash steel CVD drive shafts are a strong upgrade over standard plastic drive shafts, especially for drivers who bash, race, jump, or run brushless power. The CVD design helps deliver smoother power transfer to the wheels while reducing the chance of the drive shafts binding against suspension arms, links, or nearby components.
When drive shafts bind, the drivetrain has to work harder. That extra resistance can put more stress on the front and rear differentials, motor, bearings, and other drivetrain parts. By reducing binding and improving drivetrain efficiency, these low friction CVD drive shafts can help your car roll smoother and may help extend the life of your differentials and motor.
Why Upgrade To Steel CVD Drive Shafts?
These drive shafts are designed for drivers who want stronger, smoother, and more reliable drivetrain performance.

Important Fitment Note: Standard 5mm Models
This listing is for the standard 5mm configuration.
If you are looking for the Extreme Heavy Duty / EHD configuration, we also carry these in the EHD version. The EHD setup is different and is intended for models using the larger heavy-duty drivetrain configuration.
For Extreme Heavy Duty models, please see our Traxxas EHD CVD Drive Shafts.
Built For Smooth Power Transfer
A good set of drive shafts can make a noticeable difference in how your RC car feels. These Traxxas Slash 4×4 drive shafts help the car roll more freely by reducing the possibility of the drive shafts binding with linkage, suspension arms, or other nearby parts.
Less binding means better drivetrain efficiency. Better efficiency means less unnecessary stress on your motor, differentials, and drivetrain parts.
For drivers upgrading their Slash, Rustler, Stampede, or Hoss, this is a smart durability and performance upgrade.

Hello – we use same grub screws as traxxas oem. Grub screws are partly hollow to allow hex screw driver to go in them so you can screw / unscrew it (if it wasn’t as such would be very hard to put grub screw in). Possible you may have inadvertently stripped the screw (and that could be because of a stripped hex driver as well). You can use your old grub screws on these as well. They are same as the ones we provided. Best.

Recommendation Very
Just got parts and they appear to of excellent quality will update review once they have been used a few times, to be honest I figured I’d get crap for 30 but these appear to be very similar to traxxas one but a quarter of the price
